Pianist, guitarist and arranger Vladimir Nikolov, paired with drummer and composer Srdjan Ivanovic together lead The Undectet, a modern large ensemble, masterfully instrumented to create a large colour palette while staying small enough for interplay.

The former student-time comrades  have risen from leading student bands to international acclaim from press, who praise not only the intricate arranging and precise execution of the ensemble, but the interplay and virtuosity of the soloists.

“… Groundbreaking… The subtle touches of color and texture in his charts reminiscent of Gil Evans and Maria Schneider. Like them, Nikolov is inspired by the stirring sonorities of French horn, tuba, and accordion. But he blends Balkan metrical and tonal elements into his mix, and they introduce their own exotic aura…among the most creative current large jazz ensembles in Europe.” – JazzTimes by Thomas Conrad
