Revealing – MODULAR

It’s time to reveal the album cover of ‘’Modular’’ 🎩💥
As a big fan of photography I couldn’t not notice the great eye for image story-telling that Sylvain Gripoix has and a great way he illustrates music albums through his photos. Very thankful to be able to work with him on this cover!
Graphic design by Miloš Trkulja
Pre-save the album online (whatever that means, apparently it helps the visibility!) here:
The album will be out on 02.02.2024 and a first single is coming on 15.12.2023 🔥
Peace, love

Blazin’ Quartet – Sleeping Beauty album release concert is coming in streaming March 26!

“If the Mountain won’t go to Mohammed, then Mohammed must come to the Mountain”.

Since the album release concert for Blazin’ Quartet’s new album Sleeping Beauty was cancelled, we’ll be ensuring the highest quality audio and live 5 camera video coverage in the amazing space of the Studio de l’Ermitage in Paris and bring the music into your living room, bedroom or wherever you choose to watch.

Introducing an all-new line-up with album guest Magic Malik on flute, Olivier Laisney on trumpet, Manu Codjia on guitar, Yoni Zelnik on bass, Srdjan Ivanovic on drums, and an especially special guest, the artist-formerly-playing-with-Blazin’-Quartet – Christophe Panzani on the tenor sax.

After the show we’ll have a chat-at-the-bar, like at a real concert and you can ask questions through comments, about the new album, the concert, Srdjan’s new electronic box, or life in general.

March 26th, 9 PM in Paris (GMT-1), 3PM in New York, 5AM in Tokyo, streaming direct and available for 7 days.

Cost: a streaming concert has an actually higher budget then a regular concert (video, sound etc) and we can’t do it without your participation. To get your tickets you have several options, check those out now here.

Nikolov – Ivanovic Undectet feat. Magic Malik – a new album recording

We just finished recording a new album with the Undectet, co-led by master arranger, pianist and guitarist Vladimir Nikolov and myself. The team was amazing, 11 people dedicated towards bringing this music to life on tape. (well not tape, just bits and bytes I guess but that does not sound that nice …)
Very happy about the result so far, a lot of work stil left ahead, I’ll keep you posted!

Nikolov Ivanovic Undectet – Artistry in Broken Rhythm

This is a new group, started on the idea of doing a big ensemble group with great arranger and friend Vladimir Nikolov. We premiered the group in November 2017 at the Panchevo Jazz Festival in Serbia and recorded an album just after. We returned in April 2018 for a concert in Belgrade, opening for the Days of Holland.

Here’s some useful links for the album, hope you enjoy it!

Nikolov-Ivanović Undectet

Serbia – Romania – Bulgaria

This spring and summer Blazin’ Quartet has visited the Balkans, we started with Serbia in April, 5 concerts around the country, continued to Romania in July and played in Bucharest (La Scena) and Tulcea (Dobro Jazz Festival) and by the end of July we reached the shores of the black sea and Bulgarian Varna and the International Jazz Festival there and we finished the tour in Sofia at the Jazz Bar. In a different setting with Federico Casagrande on guitar, Andreas Polyzogopoulos on trumpet and Mihail Ivanov we had a grand time and I believe made some good music at the same time. Thank you to all there who came out, it’s very special to play in the Balkans.
